Infrastructure Manager
Clete Rodriguez is the IT Infrastructure Manager for the University of Southern California, Administrative Operations. He has over 35 years of experience in the Information Technology field, blending technical expertise with personal leadership.
Prior to joining the USC family Clete was the West Coast Manager of Operations for Strategic Program Support at Northrop Grumman, where he concurrently managed multiple teams implementing and sustaining IT infrastructures for numerous classified programs.
The first twenty years of Clete’s career was in software development, engineering, architecture and quality assurance, primarily in the finance industry for Coopers & Lybrand and Western Asset Management. He started his career writing software for bomb simulators at Hughes Simulation Systems and maintaining vessel accounting and voyage operations software for ARCO.
Clete is a board member at One & All Church in San Dimas, CA, where he also serves as a Sunday School teacher for four-year-olds and co-leads community groups with his wife, Trisa. His daughter, Chloe, is completing her PsyD at Azusa Pacific University. Matt and Ben are completing their undergraduate degrees in math and film, respectively. Clete is an avid Dodger and Laker fan and has a tremendous love for film and music.
Clete holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Business with a focus in Computer Information Systems.
